{Graduated}

My husband is officially done with his undergraduate career! We finished finals for the fall semester last week, and now Jordan will be free to work full time somewhere (don't know where yet) while I finish my last semester of college. I just know that it's going to be a huge struggle for me to get any work done while Jordan is living a normal post-grad life.

Congrats babe! I'm so proud of you for making it through the past four years and coming out with an Honors GPA and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.  

4 months from now we will both be done with college and moving on to a completely new adventure. I really can't wait to find out where we will be headed next.

Crazy Year

Jordan has been interning at Exact Target for a few weeks now. Already our lives have changed drastically, and we are slowly learning how to adjust to this new schedule of his - taking it one day at a time. I'm realizing just how much of a commitment it is to commute to Indy for a 40 hour work week. By the time Jordan gets back from work around 7:00pm, we have to eat dinner, work out, make a tanning bed visit (it's for Mexico guys...), and then fit in our quality time together somewhere between 9:00 and 10:00pm. Sadly, we can't be night owls anymore since Jordan has to wake up way before the sun in order to get to his grown up job on time.

Since we haven't spent much time together lately, we decided to make tonight a date night in Indianapolis. In order to save gas, I figured I could go to the city with Jordan and hang out in the circle center Starbucks while he works across the street.

Now it is 3:20pm and I am bored out of my mind. I have exhausted all of my entertainment options, and I've consumed way too much caffeine for one day.

In a few hours we will be eating dinner somewhere in Broad Ripple and enjoying our Friday night out together. I can't wait, and I really can't wait to explore the city that we might possibly be living in a year from now. And as you probably already know, I absolutely love Indianapolis.

Adventure

In five days I will be getting on a plan to Dublin, Ireland.

I will spend my entire spring semester in this beautiful new land. For these three months, I am taking every opportunity to learn and to grow in ways that can only be offered through living in a place that is completely foreign to me. I am ready to be immersed in a culture without having to turn around and leave before it really sticks. When I went to Greece in May for a few weeks, I was challenged, but this time it will be different. A new purpose, a new place, and a much longer amount of time. Three weeks is nothing compared to three months.

I am ready to make friends with the Irish folk and their thick accents and vulgar language.
I am willing to jump out of my comfort zone.
I am excited for free-spirited travel and adventure.
I can barely breathe when I think about going to Paris for four days!!
And I am extra pumped for the Irish dancing, greenery, hiking, theater, opera, rugby, hurling, pubs, and night life.

My studies will be nothing like what I am used to, my weekends will not be overloaded with homework and stress, and unlike my time in the States, my time spent in Ireland will be intentional with every second, and every moment.


This has been my dream, and I still can't believe that I am doing it -- with my best friend and the love of my life. We will grow so much.

Some people might be scared if they were in my position. The busy and pressure filled life that never stops going seems like too much to handle, but that is what I thrive on. The best part is, I'm not worried one little bit. God has blessed me, and He is carrying me through it all. I have no reason to fear or worry when I have a God that has never let me down.
