[Art & Copy]

As people who love advertising, Jordan and I watched Art & Copy and couldn't stop talking about it. We have a deeper appreciation for the creativity, intimacy, and passion that is involved in the business. We study it, we are surrounded by it, and we interact with it as consumers and marketing/PR majors. Often we find that people have a strong negativity towards this industry, and that is mainly because they don't understand what it is at the core. This film captures the truth, and it reveals its raw potential for greatness.

Can you tell that I am drawn to neutral and pastel colors? I seem to like beige these days, and shades of beige and tan and cream. And always white, I really like white.

Looking at creative prints like these always gets me in the mood to make something, but it's almost midnight here in Ireland and I should really go to bed.

Tomorrow is our "talent show" night, and a group of us girls are performing Thriller! We have been practicing so hard and I absolutely love being a zombie. Can't wait!

Recently I've had a fascination with typography, so now I browse the internet searching for different fonts to use for my design class. It's starting to become an obsession.

While searching for fonts to download, I have found some unique ways people have used typography, and turned it into artwork.

The creative designer crochets and knits these little characters. She gives them names and stories, and then shares them on her blog Yoomii. Something so simple can turn out to be a huge hit. I think I want an entire set, including a few owls.
